Where it all began — a passion for cars, and the metal that made them.
The Metal Garage was born from two loves: the most iconic cars ever made, and the mechanical wonder of 1970s Meccano.
As kids, we spent hours bolting together perforated strips, rods, gears and hinges — imagining cars that didn't exist, building them in our hands, piece by piece. That childhood fascination never left. It just grew up into an obsession with the legends of the automotive world.
Today, we rebuild those legends the way we always dreamed: as impossible mechanical creations. Steel plates, bolts, exposed axles and crisp detail — every car stripped to its soul and rebuilt in metal, celebrating the engineering that made it great.
The Metal Garage isn't about authenticity to a factory spec. It's about imagination. We take the silhouettes that defined their era — the Countach, the F40, the 911, the Mustang — and rebuild them as machines no factory ever made.
Every piece is original artwork. Every build is a one-of-one mechanical fantasy, designed to hang on the wall of a garage, an office or a man cave, and make you smile every time you look at it.
We believe a car is more than its paint. Strip away the bodywork and you find the soul — the engineering, the mechanics, the machine. Our job is to give that machine a second life, in steel, for everyone who ever loved a car.
Can't find your dream car in the garage? Tell us and we'll rebuild it in metal.
